All of our clinicians are licensed, which means we’ve been trained in anatomy, physiology, and other relevant sciences. We also perform ongoing continuing education to increase our therapeutic skills and better serve you. We understand that no two bodies are alike and we will work with you to get you back to your highest level of function.

Rachel Litchfield, PT, DPT
CAFS, RYT
Owner, Licensed Physical Therapist


Dr. Rachel Litchfield is the owner Coach House Physical Therapy as of May 2021. Her motivation in taking over from Brock is to keep the well known family feel of the clinic, as well as continue the outstanding patient care. Rachel received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA. Rachel moved to Virginia with her son, Logan, who you may see in the clinic. When Rachel is not serving the community she dances, runs obstacle course races, bakes, and enjoys the outdoors with her family. 

Heather Jenkins, PT, MSPT
Licensed Physical Therapist

Heather is originally from Florida but has lived all over the United States and overseas with her active-duty Navy husband. She received her undergraduate degree in Zoology at Auburn University and completed her graduate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Miami in 1995.  She has worked in outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, acute care hospitals, rehab hospitals, home health, wound care clinics, and cardiac/pulmonary rehab.  In her free time, Heather loves exploring National and State Parks with her husband, learning to cook new dishes, and reading.  

Jennifer Wright, PT, DPT

Licensed Physical Therapist

Jen joins us from Colorado. She is a graduate of University of St Augustine for her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She recently moved to Virginia with her family. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys the outdoors and traveling with her husband and two kids.

Mitchell Billingsly, LPTA
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Mitchell graduated from NVCC's PTA program in May of 2024. His clinical education afforded him exposure to patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. His experience with orthopedic conditions and work in pediatric settings has created a special interest for him in post operative rehabilitation. Mitchell’s future plans to further his career are to obtain his B.S in Biology with a minor in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys travel, hiking, bouldering, lifting weights and spending time with his family.

 

Alvaro Geovanni “Geo” Amezquita, LPTA

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Geo is a graduate of the Northern Virginia Community College PTA program. United States Marine Corps Veteran. Currently, continuing my education to obtain a bachelor’s in Kinesiology. He originally got into physical therapy with his first serious injury after active duty service. When the orthopedic doctors told him he wouldn’t recover to his life before, Physical Therapy returned him to his normal. His hobbies include running, walking, basketball, weightlifting, eating good foods, exploring cities, dancing to Latin music and gardening.

Layla Simerly
Office Manager, Medical Biller

Layla received an Occupational Associates degree in Medical billing and coding in 2017. She comes from a military family and spent the last four years in Hawaii where she ran her own baking business. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her kids and being active. She loves being outdoors, going to the gym and participating in watersports. On most days off you can find her out on the water paddle boarding.

Elizabeth “Libby” Coffing
Receptionist

Libby graduated from Daytona State College PTA program and is working towards obtaining her license. She is married to a Marine and move to Virginia in June of 2024. She has 2 adopted dogs, Snow and Titan who keep her busy. She enjoys curling up with a good book, playing with her pups, laying on the beach and spending time with her husband.
